Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. Her most recent role was Carlota in her role on the Netflix series Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer, an American actress and performer, is also a comedian. She is most notable for her time as a member on the NBC sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live from 1996 to 2002. Since then, she's appeared in ABC's Suburgatory as well as TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto and the movie Mean Girls. Gasteyer began her professional career in the university of Northwestern University; she initially enrolled as a voice major, but later switched to studies in theater when she started to get involved with Northwestern's Improv Comedy group. The same spirit was carried into her roles as Sheila Shay, the overly-controlling character in Suburgatory or Karen Grisham the agent on Lady Dynamite. The whole thing has lead up to American Auto, an NBC comedy which will finally grant Ana Gasteyer her starring role. Her most memorable role was as a member of the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, from 1996 until 2002. In the years since, she has starred in sitcoms such as ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto and the film Mean Girls. Ana Gasteyer has waited her whole life for American Auto. Martha, Inc., The Story of Martha Stewart 2003 and Martha, Behind Bars, 2005, were both based on Gasteyer's life. Cybill Shepard played her in both of the films.
